Over the years since EMID’s Directors became popularly elected at large, EMID has become a multiple service Municipal Improvement District giving its residents as much, or as little, governmental services as the majority want. EMID has provided, and /or provides the following services:

• Administration center and public document bulletin board
• Wastewater collection and disposal
• Refuse collection and disposal
• Street sweeping
• Public works projects in conjunction with state and local agencies
• Pest control
• Fire hazard abatement
• Emergency planning
• Parks and Recreation facilities, programs and classes
• Public meeting and events facilities
• Public right of way beautification and maintenance
• Trails maintenance
